The FAQ
Do you Travel?
Yes. I will travel up to 40 minutes from zip code 19335. For locations over 40 minutes from 19335, a $25 travel fee will be applied.
How long have you been doing this?
I have been a professional photographer for 9 years and have a broad experience in family photography, children's photography, engagements, weddings, and equine photography. This year, I followed my heart and transitioned away from family photography to focus on Equine portraits within my horse community.
How many photos do we get?
Black Background Portrait packages include 5 watermarked digital photos for social media use. Horse & Rider Portrait packages include 10 watermarked digital photos for social media use. Additional digital photos and prints can be purchased separately from your gallery.
How do we get our photos?
Your photos will be delivered through a password protected online gallery. You will select the photos you'd like to download and also order prints right from your gallery.
Do you retouch photos?
Yes. All photos are carefully hand retouched. Lead ropes, objects from the background, handlers, scars, etc. will be removed from the photos.
Whats your turn around time?
For Black Background portraits, please allow a few weeks for these to be delivered. Your photos will be fully retouched and ready for download when you receive your gallery. For Horse & Rider portraits, you will receive your unedited proofs in about a week. Once you select your favorites for retouching, you will receive your final images in about a week or two.

Can you help us with planning?
Absolutely! I am available to help answer any and all questions about your session via email or text.
What should we wear?
For horse and rider portraits, I suggest wearing whatever you feel best fits your personality. Also consider the type of photos you'd like. For more casual photos, I've had riders in jeans, and in dresses. For more formal photos, I've had riders wear breeches and tall boots and even a full side saddle habit. We will discuss this prior to your session during your consultation.
Does my horse have to be braided?
For black background portraits, braiding is optional. Horses must be bathed, clean and dry prior to the session and hooves must be polished. Please make sure your bridle has also been cleaned. Your horse & tack should be as clean as if you were going to a horse show.
Do I have to bring anything to my photoshoot?
Treats and a friend! Please bring a friend with you who can help us behind the scenes with getting those ears forward :) Also, bring lots of treats! I will bring a few items with me in my bag of tricks, but treats and a friend are my only requirements :)
